ArkadIA at EDULEARN25 with Space Walk and Talking Galileo
From June 30 to July 2, 2025, ArkadIA joined EDULEARN25 in Palma, Spain—one of the world’s top conferences on education and technology.
At the conference, ArkadIA presented two projects: Space Walk and Talking Galileo (and other scientist).
Together with INAF – the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics and Explora – The Children’s Museum of Rome, ArkadIA presented Space Walk, a web app in development that will allow users to explore the Solar System through an augmented reality walk in their own city. Using just a smartphone, users will be able to see the Sun and planets appear in realistic 3D scale and spacing, turning their city streets into a journey through space.
Talking Galileo is an innovative GenAI-based application project that aids at digitally bringing back to life some of the greatest scientists of all times, hosting them into classrooms and showing them up to the general public. This is done through digital twins, dynamic digital copies that use AI based avatars to speak, think, answer and interact exactly as the great scientists of the past would have done.
The Talking Galileo project is being developed by ArkadIA in collaboration with INAF, the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics, for the scientific and educational components, and with experts in LLM technologies.
